2010 LB going to be big-time
The linebacker crop in Texas for the class of 2010 is one of the deepest in years. However, there is one player who has not received quite the publicity of his peers. That is bound to change very soon, though.
The Texas A&M coaching staff went in to Missouri City Hightower to grab 2009 defensive back Colton Valencia. Now it looks like they'll continue making visits to the school again. That's because another undeniable talent has shown up there in the form of outside linebacker Shaun Lewis. Despite not yet having begun his junior year, the defender has already received plenty of attention from colleges.
"I've been getting mail from LSU, Oregon, Illinois and a couple other schools," said the 6-foot, 200-pound Lewis. "I also went to a few camps this summer. I went to the TCU camp, the UTEP camp, the LSU four-day camp and the University of Houston camp."
