In an instant, Phoenix (Ariz.) Desert Vista five-star defensive end Devon Kennard went from preparing for his next high school football game to preparing for college.

Diagnosed with a torn ACL last week, a shortened senior season shifts Kennard's priorities.

With his back to the goal line, Kennard's sack on a two-point conversion attempt by Chandler High School preserved a 21-20 victory in the final minutes of the game.

However, moments later, those minutes seemed like hours.
