TE commit visits Auburn, gets answers
Marietta (Ga.) Lassiter four-star tight end Philip Lutzenkirchen, an early Auburn commitment, arrived on campus Saturday morning for his official visit with questions about the future of the Tiger offense.
Most of them, he said, were answered.
"I don't have as many (questions) as when I got there," said Lutzenkrichen. "They answered a lot of stuff. They said they were going to stick with the spread, do more one-back stuff because you do have to run the ball in the SEC."
The 6-foot-4, 245-pounder attended the Auburn-Georgia game Saturday. He kept a close eye on the tight ends, juniors Tommy Trott and Gabe McKenzie. McKenzie made the move back to offense after a short stint at defensive end.
