Schneider enjoyed trip to OSU
The tight end position can be very important to any offensive scheme. In the past the Ohio State Buckeyes have utilized the tight end as more of a blocker. In the 2010 class maybe the best blocking tight end in the state of Ohio is Dan Schneider. The talented player recently made a visit to Ohio State and had a good time.
Avon Lake High School had a successful season advancing to the state playoffs before falling to Medina Highland High School. For Schneider he was happy overall, but wishes the team could have advanced further.
"I think it went pretty well," Schneider explained. "I wish we could have gone further in the playoffs. We lost to a good Highland team, but I thought that for me I exceeded some of my goals. I was second team all state and first team all district. I didn't expect that coming into the season. Our team has a lot of guys at my position, so I considered it a big deal just to start."
