Another goes to NFL?
In an odd change of direction, redshirt sophomore safety Reshad Jones reversed his field Wednesday night and announced his intentions to enter the NFL Draft.
Only Tuesday, the University announced that Jones would indeed be coming out, beating tomorrow's deadline set by the NFL for underclassmen to announce their intentions to turn pro.
Two sources within the UGA athletic department confirmed the decision to UGASports.
Jones led the Bulldogs with five interceptions last year en route to earning Second Team All-SEC honors by the Associated Press.
He joins cornerback Asher Allen, quarterback Matthew Stafford and running back Knowshon Moreno as players who have elected to turn pro.
