Lewis takes in A&M junior day

AggieYell.com Missouri City (Texas) Hightower outside Shaun Lewis linebacker was already a known commodity, but his performance in the Class 5A-Division I state championship game seemed to make him even more a wanted man, both by coaches and fans alike. Despite his team falling 21-14 to Allen, Lewis was all over the field the entire game and earned Defensive MVP honors for his efforts.
This semester has already been a hectic one that has seen the 6-foot-1, 200-pound junior add offers from the likes of Oklahoma and Oregon. A little over a week ago, he took in a junior day at Texas A&M, a campus he has been to several times before.
"It was real cool. It was a pleasant experience," said Lewis. "Really, the only different thing I saw was the basketball environment. I saw how they prepare for games there and how the students are crazy and into it. It's a lot like football games down there."
Lewis and his family had a chance to spend a lot of time with Aggie head coach Mike Sherman and defensive coordinator/linebacker coach Joe Kines.
