Notre Dame didn't need much daylight with Tony Jefferson. Last week the 6-foot, 195-pound athlete decided to reopen his recruitment after committing to Stanford five months ago. Within hours the Irish had signaled their intention to make a written offer to the top prospect from Chula Lake, Calif.
