Fort Bend Hightower junior linebacker Shaun Lewis first hit the spotlight during Hightower's state championship run, ranging across the field to make play after play and often times shining brighter than teammates Colton Valencia and A.J. Highsmith, both of whom signed with Division I schools.

Now, it's Lewis' turn to go through the recruiting process. Despite the fact that he's gotten scholarship offers from Duke, Houston, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon, Oregon State, Stanford and Texas A&M, in a sense he's only just begun to sort through his choices. Lewis attended Texas A&M's junior day on Jan. 17 and more recently he and his mother drove to Norman to tour Oklahoma on Jan. 31.
