Savage returns from severe injury
Aairon Savage sat down Tuesday night after his first practice since August 2008 and put his knee brace on the ground.

Tuesday was about looking forward for the senior defensive back.
"I'm feeling good," Savage said. "It's good to be back out there with the guys. Just to look in their eyes and see the uplift in their eyes and me being out there, it feels good."
Auburn coach Gene Chizik said Savage could play either safety or cornerback this year. Savage has played both positions in the past.

The move, obviously, did not pay off.
Savage's versatility, however, could prove vital.
