Lee learning on and off the field
Mississippi State quarterback Tyson Lee is doing a lot of learning this spring.
Not only is he taking 18 hours this semester working to complete his degree in biology education but he is studying Dan Mullen's playbook integrating the spread offense to his teammates.
"It's a lot of studying," Lee said. "With 18 hours of school it's been extremely tough. I think it's going well overall.
"My classes are pretty tough but the coaches do a good job of working around my schedule. Sometimes you just have to stay up late nights and get up early in the morning to try and make it happen."
Lee and the rest of the offense are finding out that things happen much faster on the practice field than watching film and drawing up plays on the dry erase board.
