Linebackers continue to be strength of OSU defense
Off and on rain forced the Oregon State football team to practice inside Truax on Monday. As a result, it was difficult to observe the linebackers in detail because my viewing angles were limited. However, it didn't take much to realize this year's linebacking corps is very versatile. That is, every linebacker brings something different to the field for the Beavers.
Senior Keaton Kristick, sophomore David Pa'aluhi and junior Dwight Roberson were the first-string linebackers. This is a physical and athletic group. Kristick, especially, looks like he has put on weight. Meanwhile, Roberson is arguably the fastest linebacker on the team. He looked at ease running down Ryan McCants on several occasions.
