It was about a month ago that Bennett Jackson received an offer from Notre Dame, but that conversation left an impact on the 6-foot-1, 165-pound receiver from Hazlet, N.J. Jackson said he enjoyed talking with Irish assistant coach Frank Verducci and head coach Charlie Weis. The receiver has stayed in touch and plans to visit the Irish in May.
