Defensive ends dominate on day 3
Day three meant shoulder pads for the Oregon State football team, who already looks like they are ready to hit people. While fundamentals are still the key elements being taught, many of the players look like they were in mid-fall camp form already.
Yesterday it was the receivers that stood out, while today the defensive line showed impressive speed and aggressiveness. The young players are also already showing a hunger to learn and are jumping into practice with both feet.
While the depth chart is still being configured, the staff is using this early part of practice to tinker with different combinations of players. Nowhere is that more evident than the defensive line where Coach Joe Seumalo continues to mix up the line and he is being rewarded with some impressive performances by some of the young guns.
