Three-star RB picks Miss. St.
Mississippi State was so nice Rajion Neal had to see it twice.
The three-star running back visited the Starkville campus for the Big Dawgs Camp on July 24 with his father but made a return visit today with his mother to give the Bulldogs his pledge in person.
"Me and my family didn't get a good chance to see the campus," Neal said. "Last time I came it was just me and my dad and all we did was the camp. Today it was me and my mom. I wanted to be able to interact with the players and talk to the coaches and be shown around the campus."
Neal had narrowed his list to MSU, Louisville and Kentucky but it was the Bulldogs coaching staff that seemed to make the difference.
"Just talking with the coaches, Coach (John) Hevesy and Coach (Dan) Mullen, when I came to the camp they showed me a lot of love," Neal said. "They were telling me some things and showing me around. It seemed like they were a good coaching staff that want to win. They showed me a good time."
It didn't hurt matters that State was also the first of his nine offers. He also had scholarship offers from Kentucky, Louisville, Southern Miss, Tulane, East Carolina, Middle Tennessee, Troy and Western Kentucky.
