E.J. Banks isn't fighting for a starring role in Notre Dame's defense this season. The freshman cornerback, less than a year removed from ACL surgery, knows he may have a scout team part to play this season. That's fine by him. Banks believes he's acclimating nicely to Notre Dame and the Irish wouldn't mind extending his career down the road.
