Glad to be a winner in Alabama
Titus Brown grew up in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, a town where Alabama football is considered a religion. Brown decided to take his talents elsewhere. Brown decided to sign with a school that was rebuilding its program from scratch, rather than follow his childhood dream. As a resident of Tuscaloosa, home of the Alabama Crimson Tide, Brown was pressured to go to Alabama and perhaps be the next great middle linebacker at Alabama.
"Growing up in Tuscaloosa, all you hear about is Alabama football. From the time I started playing at Hillcrest; one of my dreams was to play at Alabama. Coach Croom offered me and I felt had a better chance to play here as a freshmen as a linebacker/ defensive end than at Alabama.
