Scouting Reports

The good: Powerful senior had a fine Big 12 career. He finished strong as a feature back, averaging 20+ carries per game for the first time. Ranks high as a between-the-tackles runner and has the lateral quickness to bounce outside. In 2006 he rushed for 1,447 yards on 250 carries with eight TDs. He added 24 receptions for 194 yards. As a receiver, he has developed nicely despite limited opportunities earlier in his career.

The bad: At times he runs too much east/west and needs to develop his overall skills. At the Combine, he ran a 4.65 in the 40.

Outlook: Solid back with the talent, instincts and toughness to be a role player as a pro - most likely as a short-yardage runner or third-down back. Later-round prospect with a make-it grade.
