For much of the regular season, Florida’s baseball team has leaned on its sturdy bullpen. But for the second consecutive day of postseason play, the Gators’ relief pitching failed to hold up. Saturday, it was the front end of the pen; Sunday, it was the back end. Southern Miss took advantage, scoring three eighth-inning runs to rally to a 7-6 victory to sweep the NCAA Super Regional and advance to its first-ever College World Series. [details]
