What went wrong in Kentucky's 44-35 loss to Southern Miss?
JR: Kentucky didn't respond to adversity well. They built a 35-10 lead and it looked like Southern Miss would go into the locker room down by that margin, but Kentucky gave up a quick touchdown on a blown coverage. USM received to start the second half and drove down for another touchdown. Just like that it was 35-24. The offense sputtered, turning it over a couple of times (trying to force things to turn momentum) and whenever the defense was on the field they were just unable to get stops.
