So Bong let me ask you a couple of questions.

1.) Do you think coach Shannon has improved as a head coach from last year to this year? Example: Miami vs Oklahoma (2007) - Miami vs florida (2008).

2.) If our record does dramitically improve from last year, is it going to automatically be a thing where it is because the ACC is bad?

See I feel what you're saying and yes i also feel it needs to be proven on the field first, and thus i won't say much in regards to that, but if you're gonna blame shannon for us being a terrible team, would you also hold him accountable for us turning it around IF we indeed do turn it around?

1.) That all depends. UF hasn't played well on offense yet this year. For instance our offense scored 28 on hawaii and 26 on miami. The big difference in the two games was Hawaii took some shots down field that cost them, miami didn't do that, and miami's special teams didn't allow us any cheap scores. UF's offense right now is very pedestrian so I don't think its him being a better coach that caused this to not be like the OU game last year. We haven't blocked anyone yet this season. Could he be better? Maybe, is he better? We'll see, you guys have to win 8 games this year for me to buy it.
2.)I am not sure. I condemned the ACC roundly after the first week of the season, they've shown some life the last two weeks, it might not be nearly as bad as I thought it was.
3.) Yes, if you're better he gets credit just like he'd get blame otherwise. I think your talent level will improve under him no matter what. That doesn't mean anything though, zook too was a hell of a recruiter.

I think the problem with the ACC is that everyone is very mediocre.

I think, of any of the teams, Miami has a shot of being better than the others.

If for no other reason than their talent.

Virginia Tech with that other QB(tyrod something or rather)is a different team, Georgia Tech has some athletes on defense, a solid offensive line and offensive scheme that gives headaches, UNC while young has some athletes, Wake Forest is what they are every year, and Miami hasn't beaten anyone yet, both of their wins came against totally terrible teams.
