10 Gators to pull for in 2010
Every player has a compelling. Every player has overcome some sort of obstacle. But some have better stories than others. And some have overcome more obstacles than most. The Florida football roster is filled with interesting and unique young men. But these are 10 we think are particularly worth pulling for in 2010 because of the situations in which they find themselves.
Brandon Antwine, , DT
Why: Now a senior, the poor guy has had three major injuries and two major surgeries. This is his final shot, and he's stuck behind two immensely talented players in Omar Hunter and Lawrence Marsh[\db]. Through all the disappointments, he never quit, instead relying on family and friends to keep him motivated.
[db]John Brantley, QB
Why: Where do we begin. First, he has to replace you know who, which is no easy chore. Also, he has the task of being a torchbearer for one of the great Gator families. No pressure there, huh? Despite this, Brantley is a humble, easy-going guy who shows no signs of cracking.
