In a nutshell: The Florida game
To quote color analyst Andre Ware word-for-word: "How do you miss a call like that?"
The call we're talking about came when Vanderbilt trailed 20-14, and had the ball at the Florida 39 with 6:08 left. The Commodores' Jordan Rodgers had been nearly unstoppable in the second half, escaping the rush time after time and completing huge throws downfield.
On this play, he had Boyd open for another around the UF 20. Boyd was obviously shoved out of the play as the ball fell incomplete. Vanderbilt coach James Franklin went nuts on the sidelines, and no flag was thrown.
Instead of a first down and a chance to add on a go-ahead touchdown, the Commodores punted out of bounds at the Florida six.
