The Top-35

It's been a long and tough process along with a bit of procrastination but the final top-35 in Louisiana for the 2007 recruiting year is finished with a great deal of movement as just about every athlete saw their senior year lead to their stock either rising or falling.

Two five-star prospects head the list as John Curtis running back Joe McKnight is the number one player in Louisiana followed closely by safety Chad Jones of Baton Rouge-Southern Lab.

Jones was the number one player in the preseason Top-30 but falls behind McKnight in the end, but not by much.

Some of the significant movers from the preseason list were defensive tackle Drake Nevis of John Ehret, offensive tackle Josh Dworaczyk of New Iberia-Catholic, the brothers Delvin Breaux and Lionel Breaux of McDonogh 35 as well as two newcomers Wilfred Journet of Acadiana High and athlete Lance Kelley of St. Thomas More.

Others saw their stock drop a bit from their junior years, but none dropped as significantly as others rose.
