Moore likes what he sees on A&M visit

The Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex has been very good to Texas A&M in the class of 2010 as the Aggies have eight committments from the area, which is double the total they had in the class of 2009. Despite the fact that they play at half a dozen different high schools, some of them have known each other for years and have become reacquainted via cell phones and text messages.

Rowlett defensive end Damontre Moore transferred out of Dallas prior to his sophomore year, but grew up with Dallas Skyline linebacker and fellow A&M commit Domonique Patterson. In the process of becoming reacquainted with Patterson, he discovered that he also had ties to Cedar Hill running back Ben Malena. Thus, it was no coincidence that Moore found himself in College Station Saturday for the Aggies' game with Iowa State along with Patterson, Patterson's Skyline teammates Corey Nelson (also committed to A&M) and Mike Davis, Malena and Malena's teammate Elisha Olabode.
