Henderson will get another look at Iowa

The No. 1 recruit in the nation will be on campus at the University of Iowa this weekend. Five-star prospect Seantrel Henderson, a 6-foot-8, 301-pound offensive lineman from Minnesota, is making the trip south from the Twin Cities with a few of his teammates at Cretin-Derham Hall early Saturday morning to watch the Hawkeyes in their regular season finale.

The first order of business for Cretin-Derham Hall this weekend will be a state semifinal game against Brainerd on Friday night. Then the group of teammates will depart for Iowa City bright and early on Saturday morning. Henderson, who visited Iowa once earlier this year, wanted to come with them to get another look at the Hawkeyes.

Holding scholarship offers from basically every top program in the nation, Henderson has been taking the recruiting process slow as he tries to narrow things down. This season, he has made official visits to Ohio State and Notre Dame and is looking at taking trips to USC and Florida in December.

Currently, Henderson plans to make his college decision close to signing day in early February.
