UCLA Loses to Butler in the Last Second

Box Score

UCLA came storming back after being behind the entire game to tie it at 67 all with six seconds left on a three pointer by Jerime Anderson, but UCLA fouled Butler's Gordon Hayward with .06 seconds left to lose by two 67 to 69 as Hayward made both free throws. The Bruins failed to stop Hayward's full court sprint and had to foul him to stop a layup. This was a disappointing loss but also a promising game against a top 10 rated opponent.

Butler started out the game going up 4 to 0 on four free throws. UCLA then hit two shots to tie the game at four a piece but Butler then hit a three pointer to go ahead for good until the Bruins tied the game with only six seconds left.
