2011 QB impressed with Tide

Our team did pretty well this year. We had some young guys filling in for some really great players that graduated last year and we ended up going undefeated in the regular season. We slipped up in the playoffs but we played well all year as a whole. I feel like I have a lot to work on and if I continue to improve, hopefully we can take it even further next year.

Northwestern is probably my most recent offer but the ones I continue to hear from the most are LSU, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina and Vandy.

I got a chance to watch the entire SEC Championship Game start to finish and it was honestly one of the most impressive performances I've ever seen from a team. Alabama was really almost perfect. Greg McElroy really surprised me. I knew he was good but I've never seen him play like that for an entire game. That hop-skip move he did down the sideline was something else.

Even though I'm a spread quarterback and I run a good bit, I feel like I can definitely play in an offense like Alabama's. I have confidence in my passing skills and even though I can make plays running, I feel like I don't have to run to be an effective quarterback.

I'm definitely going to be going to a lot of camps next summer and a lot of unofficial visits to try and learn the most that I can about all the schools interested in me. I can't really call anyone a leader right now because I just haven't had the chance to learn enough about all the teams. I think I'll start to get a better idea once I start taking visits next summer.
