Van sees an opportunity at Florida

It has been said and written time and again, so many times it may start to seem like a broken record. However, here it is once again. If you are a competent cornerback, with what Florida is losing in the secondary after the season, there is without a doubt an opportunity for early playing time in Gainesville. It is that chance at immediate playing time that prominently factored into four-star athlete Travon Van being willing to travel across the continental U.S. in order to play his college football.

Upon returning home to California from his weekend visit to Florida, the 5-foot-11, 200-pound New Berlin (N.Y.) Milford Prep standout talked about his trip east.
