Texas Tech no match for Morris, KU

With last year's blowout loss to Texas Tech fresh in their minds, No. 3 ranked Kansas (16-1; 2-0) wasted little time in putting an end to any hopes the Red Raiders might have had in winning two straight games over the Jayhawks. Marcus Morris scored a game-high 20 points and pulled down eight rebounds, as Kansas defeated Texas Tech, 89-63. Two other players, Xavier Henry (14) and Cole Aldrich (14) also scored in double-figures. as KU won its 52 straight home game.
