Tigers carry confidence to round two

BUFFALO- It will be athletes versus athletes and confidence versus confidence when 10th-seeded Missouri meets second-seeded West Virginia in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Sunday in Buffalo. A pair of teams with seemingly limitless energy, athletic ability and drive will fight for a spot in the Sweet 16.

"I feel real confident about Sunday, "said Missouri guard Zaire Taylor. "You can't win a game if you're not. The coaches are (confident). And we're ready to just get on the court and start practicing to get prepared."

Mizzou held a closed walk-through on Saturday at HSBC Arena. The team arrived late after a mix-up with their bus driver. The Tigers' effort will need to be on time when they tip off against the Moutaineers at 2:40 p.m. (Eastern) on Sunday. West Virginia ranked second in the Big East in scoring defense.
