Price takes advantage of lessons learned

There is no question that Sheldon Price was thrown into the fire last year. He did the best he could under trying times. There were some who thought that the talented corner with so much promise would see his confidence take a hit, but they would be wrong. Instead of hanging his head he worked on this offseason and if his performance this spring is any indication of what the future will bring, then his baptism by fire would have not been in vain.

"Definitely," Price said regarding if he thinks his hard lessoned learned, will end up being a benefit. "I was like a sponge with Vern (Alterraun Verner).

"Everything that Vern taught me," Price said. "I'm trying to use out on the field."

Price also gives praise to new grad assistant coach Daronte Jones.
