Ramirez makes another move
Interesting things transpired on the 12th day of spring. Christian Ramirez returned to the offense after 11 impressive days at safety. He lined up at F-back and played well. UCLA head coach Rick Neuheisel will explain the move to the media.
There were a lot of dropped balls yesterday by the receivers. That could have been one of the reasons that Neuheisel was adamant that the players with opportunity seize the day.
Long Beach (Calif.) Poly made their what is becoming their annual trek to UCLA during spring as there was a large contingent Jackrabbit football players that attended practice.
The following is Neuheisel's meeting with the media after practice.
Neuheisel: "There are some really good things going on out here. So I come over here and I'm pleased, but it is important that these kids understand whether it is their time here at UCLA or whatever business opportunities that they go into whether it is the NFL or Welles Fargo Bank, who knows? That you have to seize your opportunity and when kids get an opportunity to get into the game, they better know what they are doing. Because if they don't there is no one to blame, but themselves.
