7-on-7 quick hits

While most of Los Angeles was going through its first official heat wave of summer, it was a beautiful evening in Westwood. The only thing that was missing was the usual music blasting, but the lack of music did not affect the energy displayed by the UCLA Bruin football team gathered to drill and get ready for August camp coming up in less than three weeks.

In one of the first drills incoming freshman defensive back Tevin McDonald was locking people down. McDonald looked very impressive and if this performance translates onto the gridiron then this young man could be the steal of the class.

Another freshman, Anthony Jefferson, a cornerback, keeps improving. It is obvious to the onlookers that he has the right stuff and the work ethic to get it done.
