Revisiting the Class of 2005

With Urban Meyer and company churning out top five rated recruiting class after top five rated recruiting class year after year, it's easy to forget just how unforgettably bad his first signing class was.

Thanks in large part to a late start and his staff's relative unfamiliarity with those on the Florida recruiting board, the class wasn't exactly one for the ages.

Though they were hampered by the fact that they weren't able to hit the road recruiting full time until early January, they were still able to sign the No. 15 rated class in the nation, on the Rivals.com team recruiting rankings. For the most part the class was a complete washout, but there were a couple of bright spots.
