Final four games will challenge Bulldogs

Thebulldogreport.com has been previewing the Fresno State Bulldogs schedule all week long.

Finally we have reached the final four games on the Bulldogs schedule. These final four games will prove to be the most difficult for the 'Dogs as they will play the two top teams in the WAC, an up incoming WAC team and a big ten Foe.

November 13th,2010- Nevada: The Wolf pack will come to town in what is certainly to be a tough game for the Bulldogs. The Wolf pack led by senior quarterback Colin Kaepernick will use their pistol offense to try and beat the Bulldogs. Last season Nevada totally dominated Fresno State on the ground and held the offense to 14 points in a 52-14 win. Fresno State had no offense after running back Ryan Mathews went out with an injury. Fresno State will need to control a tough Nevada run game and keep Kaepernick in check. They will need to take the lead early and keep scoring. This will be a shootout. Prediction: To close to call

November 19th,2010- #3 Boise State: This will be the game that Fresno State fans want to win the most. Fresno State has only beaten the Broncos once in ten tries and that was a 24-7 win in 2005. Boise will be looking to possibly go the BCS title game and win another WAC title. With Boise leaving for the Mountain West next season this could be the chance to end with a bang for the broncos. Fresno State this year will try and get a win in Boise as Ryan Colburn will have to have a great game, Robbie Rouse will need to carry the load on the ground, and The defense led by Chris Carter and Lorne Bell will need to control the high powered Boise offense and keep the game close. In reality the Broncos may be to strong and keep their winning ways against the 'Dogs. Prediction: Boise State 35-28.

November 27th,2010- Idaho: The Vandals will travel to Bulldog Stadium and try and continue their building process from a season ago. Last season the Bulldogs went to Moscow and dominated the Vandals both passing and running the ball. The Bulldogs jumped out to a 24-0 nothing lead at Halftime. The Bulldogs dominated on the ground as Ryan Mathews had 143 yards and three touchdowns. More importantly Quarterback Ryan Colburn went 14/14 for 159 yards and 1 touchdown. If Colburn can repeat this performance and Rouse runs through the Vandals Defense, The 'Dogs should have another win. Prediction 'Dogs 35-14

December 3rd,2010- Illinois- The final game of the season will pit the Bulldogs against Illinois of the Big Ten. Last season these two teams played a thriller with the Bulldogs coming out on top with a two point conversion from Colburn to offensive linemen Devan Cunningham. Fresno State will need to contain Juice Williams who only completed eight passes but still had 211 yards and three touchdowns. Fresno State will also need to contain on the ground as they will face another running quarterback.
