In-depth: the Defensive Line

As we continue to take an in-depth look at the different position groups heading into opening night, today the defensive line is up. The play of the d-line is essential in coordinator Mark Banker's scheme.

Last year the unit only produced 17 sacks. The pass rush will need to improve upon those numbers for the Beavers to find success this next season. To further deplete the depth, during fall camp defensive hunt Mitchel Hunt and defensive tackle Tonu Tuimalealiifano were forced to retire due to injuries.

LEFT DEFENSIVE END

GABE MILLER: Entering his first full season as a starter, Miller has a lot expected of him. The former tight end looks very comfortable now coming off the edge.
