Big visits on tap

The weekend of December 3rd could go a long way toward filling out the final spots for the Spartan recruiting class of 2011. Mark Dantonio and his staff will have a tremendous group of players on campus.

The Spartans will have double-digit recruits on campus the weekend of December 3rd. The majority of the players will be committed prospects but a few will be top players on the recruiting board at their respective positions for Coach Mark Dantonio:

CB Doran Grant of Akron Saint Vincent-Saint Mary's High School, Ohio

The #1 rated cornerback has long listed Michigan State and Ohio State as his favorites. The inside word is that Michigan state also could use Grant on the offensive side of the ball as well. His father was a standout wide receiver for Michigan State back in the early 1980's.

DE Anthony Zettel of Ogemaw Heights High School, Michigan

Zettel is a top 100 recruit and the #3 player in Michigan for the class of 2011. Zettel is in the process of taking his 4 official visits which will be to Iowa, Penn State, Michigan State and Michigan, Zettel recently y stated everyone is even. The Wolverines have previously been reported as his leader.

OL Aundrey Walker of Cleveland Glenville High School, Ohio

the massive prospect recently told that his leaders were Ohio State and Michigan State. The Spartans are hoping to crack into a Glenville pipeline that has been send player to Columbus for over a decade. The 6-foot-5, 350-pound road grader is exactly what Coach Dantonio wants for his power run game.

Numerous committed payers will be on campus to interact with the uncommitted players above. Coach Dantonio likes for the recruits to get an opportunity to get to know each other as much as possible due to the fact that they could be playing with each other next four or five years. will be confirming all of the players that will be on campus that weekend in the coming days.
