Not even a full week into the new policy, Tre Walker has already had had an up-close encounter with the Bill Snyder Family Stadium turf. The recently named Freshman All-American has felt his nose touch the cold turf on several occasions. "I've already done probably 20- some up-downs," the linebacker said on Wednesday, and there are certainly more to come. It may or may not have any effect, but don't accuse Bill Snyder of not making every possible effort to shore up his 118th-ranked rush defense before it takes the field for one, final time this season in a New Era Pinstripe Bowl Appearance against Syracuse.
