BlitzQuicks: Insight into position switch

Sometimes you want to get your best players on the field regardless of position. Rueben Robinson has an opportunity to provide experience at OLB during fall camp. This comes as a bit of a surprise considering the Beavers depth at MLB is especially shallow. BeaverBlitz shares additional insight on this subject.

As BeaverBlitz.com reported in The Lodge several weeks ago, Michael Bibbee wasn’t going to be with the football program in the fall. With Robinson moving to the outside the Beaver Staff gives the nod to Feti Unga on the inside. Tony Wilson will have a chance to state his case in early August.

The position change is a positive move for Robinson who has outside linebacker speed, size, and coverage skills. He's expected to be an integral part of the linebacker rotation. Robinson brings experience to a position that lost starters Keith Pankey and Dwight Roberson to graduation.
