Northwest programs pursue speed rusher
One of the more intriguing prospects from the state of Oregon is Tyrone Holmes. The Eagle Point defensive end is preparing for his senior season and shared his thoughts on recruiting with Rivals.com.
"We've started our doubles this week", Holmes explained as he prepared for the third day of extended practice. "We're starting at 4:00pm and practicing until 9:00pm".
Participating in back-to-back practices isn't easy, but Holmes relishes the opportunity to get stronger and faster for his senior season. His primary weapon at defensive end is his closing speed which he showcased at the Eugene Nike Camp. Holmes is the first to admit his size-to-speed ratio gives him an advantage over opponents.
