Defensive Points: Arizona State

Awarding MVP honors after a loss is tough, however the defense played an inspired game in Tempe and there were several very strong plays. There seemed to be a sense of urgency and the defense swarmed to the ball more than we've seen so far this season.


Jordan Poyer had a standout game and played like we saw him play during fall camp. His two interceptions were timely and should have been catalysts for touchdowns by the offense. Anthony Watkins also had an interception and played well during his time on the field.
