Indiana junior high on Vanderbilt

St. John's (Ind.) Lake Central running back David Yancey is generating college attention from colleges across the country, but one particular SEC program has caught his attention most in the early stages of the recruiting process.

Thus far, the 5-11, 200-pound Yancey is being recruited solely as a running back, but this past season he took over the quarterback reigns for a team that won their first league championship in school history. Yancey put his running skills to good use from the quarterback position, rushing for over 2,000 yards and scored 27 touchdowns.
