Mountaineers hope slow starts not the norm

Two-games in a row West Virginia has struggled out of the gates, trailing by two at the half against Miami and then only leading Texas A&M Corpus Christi by four Saturday. But in both games, the Mountaineers used a dominant second-half effort to propel them to double-digit victories.

And although it's worked for two games in a row, the Mountaineers are hoping it doesn't become a trend especially with more difficult contests and the Big East slate on the horizon.
