Sooners Ready to Get Going at LB?





One of the hottest prospects in the state of Texas when it comes to recruiting is Allen, Texas linebacker, Christian Sam. Just yesterday the 6-foot-2 and 205-pound prospect added two more offers to his list from Kansas and Washington State, putting him up to double digit offers. Less than a month ago Oklahoma offered Sam and were immediately one of his top teams on his list, though he had not yet been to Norman.

Earlier today, Sam got his first chance to see the University of Oklahoma up close for the first time during the Sooners first spring practice and second Jr. Day for the 2014 class.

"We watched the practice and we got to see how they do things, drills and linebackers," Sam began. "They showed us the nutrition plans and weight room plans. We got to meet the coaches and we toured the place, like the academic centers and the stadium. We got to see the stadium and that was real nice. We got to see a video in the meeting room and that was real nice too getting to see to whole academic facility. And we got to see the jerseys and the locker room and that was real cool."
