Spring finale in the books
Florida's drive started at its own 35-yard line and ended with a 38-yard field goal attempt. Brad Phillips' attempt was no good, but instead of the drive ending, freshman Austin Hardin stepped up and made the same field goal. A few minutes later, the Gators were spread all over the field with quarterbacks and wide receivers working on routes from the 10-yard line.
Saturday's Orange and Blue Debut didn't resemble a game in any liberal translation of the word. Injuries forced the Gators to turn their annual spring finale into a glorified open practice.
