Hargreaves day-to-day with leg injury
What was a relatively dead Florida football camp as far as injuries are concerned all of a sudden came alive on day four of fall camp, sophomore cornerback Vernon Hargreaves III left the Gators' practice with a left knee injury.
The injury occurred in a scuffle between Florida's wide receivers and defensive backs during a tackle drill. As the scuffle broke down after about 10-15 seconds, Hargreaves went to the midfield tent with the injury and was tended to by trainers, who wrapped his left knee with an ice bag.
After trying to walk and put weight on his left leg, Hargreaves dragged with a slight limp and sat back down, taking his pads off. Trainers soon brought the cart, where Hargreaves sat in the passenger seat, as it exited the Dizney Lacrosse Field.
