Tampa Middleton another Gold (and Blue) mine?

Last year, West Virginia football recruiters Butch Jones and Calvin Magee struck Gold (and Blue) when they went into Tampa (Fla.) Middleton and plucked out not one, but indirectly two signees.

First, Jones and Magee, who have roots with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, pulled defensive end Marcus Broxie (6-4, 230) away from North Carolina State, where he had previously committed. Then about a week later they plucked utility back Eddie Davis (5-11, 185) away from South Florida.

Davis and Broxie are cousins, and it's a good bet that the defensive end helped turn on the RB-DB to head Coach Rich Rodriguez, who ultimately sealed the deal.

Now, Jones, Magee and RichRod may be heading back to Tampa Middleton, to see if there are other Broxies with cousins, perhaps. Spring football begins in the Sunshine State May 1, and runs for three weeks.
