Spring Football Recap: Most Improved

After each of Arizona's spring scrimmages, GOAZCATS.com posted the top five players on the day. Although those were the best players for the given scrimmage they didn't quite draw notice to the kids who had been constantly improving throughout the spring. Here is a breakdown of the most improved players on the offensive side of the ball following spring practice.

The offensive line's depth has been one of the talks of the spring and it is due to the emergence of some young players. Redshirt freshman Daniel Borg had perhaps the best spring on the offensive line with his all around improved play. Borg took huge leaps in his pass and run blocking abilities throughout the spring and will be heavily involved in the competition for a starting position in the fall.

Bill Wacholz came up big all spring with his improvement with pass and run blocking fundamentals. However, it was his attitude that gave him a big edge this spring. Walchoz has the size to be a very good offense linemen and played a lot tougher all spring which finally let his size show.
