Staying put in the Big Ten?
The recruiting trail for David Arnold could be winding closer to its end, but that doesn't mean he's any closer to a final decision. After picking up his first offer, the safety from Copley, Ohio is thinking Big Ten but cautioned that he does not have any rankings for the various schools clamoring for his services.
Give Illinois a slight edge, however, for being the first team to offer the safety/wideout.
Arnold will be headed to Penn State this weekend to meet with representatives from the school, then will head to Syracuse for what he described as his final visits for awhile. He will not be at the OSU NIKE Camp on Friday due to a scheduling conflict.
