Top in-state wideout will camp at Auburn

While there's still debate on who is the top overall prospect in the state of Alabama for the class of 2007, there's no question Mobile (Ala.) UMS-Wright standout Brandon Gibson is the top wide receiver.

The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Gibson, who's run a 4.44 40-yard dash, hauled in 43 passes for 750 yards and 13 touchdowns as a junior. He also features an impressive highlight film and has offers from Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Ole Miss and Kansas State.

"It means a lot to me to have all these offers," said Gibson. "It gives me an even better opportunity to see all these schools."

Gibson has already visited Alabama and Florida, and plans to camp at Auburn later this summer.
